Cole Dolny is a seasoned executive, as well as an executive and business coach, consultant, and trusted advisor dedicated to driving meaningful growth and performance improvement for leaders of small and medium-sized enterprises. Building on more than 28 years of experience as President and CEO of ASL Distribution Services, Cole brings deep expertise in strategic team performance improvement, transformation, operational excellence, and financial stewardship—key elements essential to navigating the complex challenges faced by today's business leaders.
During his tenure at ASL Distribution, the company experienced significant growth, increasing revenues by approximately 15X and achieving consistent profitability, including a 40% EBITDA increase from 2020 to 2024. ASL was recognized as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies for 17 consecutive years, reflecting a commitment to organizational effectiveness, performance, and a strong cultural foundation.
Cole's entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding Precision Home & Office Deliveries and integrating it into ASL’s broader operational framework. His experience managing complex M&A processes—both buy-side and ultimately the sale and successful transition of the business—along with strategic diversification and crisis management, demonstrates his capacity to lead businesses through periods of significant change while empowering executive teams to excel.
Certified in both Executive Coaching and Business Coaching by the Center for Executive Coaching, Cole combines structured methodologies with an empathetic, highly personalized approach. His coaching, advisory, and consulting philosophy emphasizes active inquiry, deep listening, and helping clients discover and implement solutions uniquely suited to improve their business performance.
Today, Cole’s practice offers a comprehensive range of advisory services—from strategic planning, team alignment, and financial performance improvements to executive coaching, talent management, and navigating business transitions, including preparation for sale. Cole is committed to coaching clients by delivering strategic insights, practical solutions, and dedicated support to drive the success of the businesses he partners with.
Cole Dolny holds an MBA specializing in International Business and Finance from York University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson). His blend of technical knowledge, executive experience, and coaching credentials uniquely positions him to serve as an influential partner in your business's ongoing success and transformation.
At 6S Advisory, supporting the community is a meaningful commitment. Giving back has long been part of both my personal values and professional life. I have learned that there are a lot of important and good causes to support, and I’m proud to support three organizations doing essential, hands-on work for those who need it: Covenant House Toronto, Yonge Street Mission, and Smilezone Foundation.
Covenant House supports youth facing homelessness and survivors of sex trafficking — often teens the same age as my son and daughters. This year, I’m honoured to participate alongside one of my daughters and son in the Sleep Out: Champions Edition, raising funds and awareness by giving up our beds for one night in solidarity with the youth who don’t have that choice.
It’s a small act, but it reflects a much larger belief — that these young people matter. Covenant House operates 24/7, providing shelter, meals, healthcare, counselling, and job training to hundreds of vulnerable youth every day. I’m proud to support their mission and to stand, and sleep in the cold, with others demonstrating to these youth that they are not alone.
For over 125 years, Yonge Street Mission has been a pillar in Toronto, working to break the cycle of poverty by addressing its root causes. They offer programs in education, employment readiness, mental health, and food security — all delivered through a personal, relationship-based approach.
Their long-term support model resonates with my belief in sustainable, meaningful change. I am honoured to donate coaching time to contribute directly to YSM’s mission of restoring dignity and opportunity in underserved communities.
Smilezone transforms hospitals and treatment centres into safe, welcoming spaces where children can find moments of joy and distraction during their toughest days.
Our family knows firsthand just how important these spaces can be. Our son spent over 12 months in hospital, at times facing life-threatening illness. Those old, worn-out play areas — even before Smilezone came along — were his only real escape from the constant treatments and pain. I can’t imagine what that year would have been like without them.
That’s why I’ve been proud to support Smilezone for coming on a decade. Their work doesn’t cure illness, but it plays a vital role in the emotional and mental well-being of children who are hospitalized for extended periods. These spaces bring light into dark days — and that matters deeply.
These causes are close to my heart. The support we give — whether time, resources, or simply listening — can have a real impact. At 6S Advisory, we believe in showing up for people, in business and in life.
